Harley Davidson Ride to the Races
These bikers may look tough, but they are all heart. This second annual ride from downtown benefits a worthy cause: Aseltine School, which helps children with behavioral issues and learning disabilities. Children 12 and younger receive a Webkinz Plush Horse and can participate in Infield activities.

Del Mar Racetrack: Other events and details
Racing post time at Del Mar is 2 p.m. on most Wednesdays through Sundays. On Fridays, first post is from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. From 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday fans can take a behind-the-scenes look during Daybreak at Del Mar. July 24 and Aug. 21 Donuts Days also offer opportunities for questions for jockeys and trainers – and free donuts from 8 to 10 a.m.
The Friday concert series is at a different location this year: the Seaside Terrace at the west end of the Grandstand with a view of the Pacific. The concerts are included in admission bought before the last race – which starts at $6, or $3 with membership. Concertgoers entering after the last race are charged $20.
