What a perfect weekend in San Diego this past January for the San Diego Sunroad Boat Show at the Sunroad Marina. The four- day boating exhibition drew visitors from all over the west coast, and with temperatures registering in the mid-70s every day (and not a cloud in the sky), most visitors were probably wondering if it was January or July. Those on the east coast don’t know what they’re missing!
With plenty of sunshine, attendees were able to make the rounds comfortably on one of the most beautiful harbors in the world and view vessels big and small, affordable and luxurious.
For those with a keen observational eye, however, there was one vessel that stood out from all the rest. Although not formally part of the boat show, the Attessa IV, a mammoth 332-foot yacht owned by billionaire Dennis Washington, made its way into the San Diego Harbor during the Boat Show weekend.
The yacht was seen docked across from Sunroad Marina for all four days of the show and made its way around the harbor throughout the weekend, well within view of the Sunroad Marina grounds. What a spectacular treat for those who visited the harbor in late January!
