Breakfast Battle: Egg vs. Bagel

Recent breakfast research reported in Parade magazine shows that eating breakfast helps to both prevent obesity in children and maintain weight loss in adults.

Breakfast makes you feel fuller all day—especially if the breakfast includes protein. In a 2010 study, men who ate an egg for breakfast reported less hunger over the next three hours and consumed fewer calories in the next 24 hours than men who were given a bagel to eat.
