Somali Radio Station Gives Weapons as Prize
A radical Islamist-run radio station in Somalia is giving away guns, bombs and books to children as part of a Quran recital contest.

On September 19, the first place winner received a rifle and $700. Second place was a rifle and $500 and third place was awarded with two bombs.

The three children also received religious books. Andulus radio station is run by the al-Qaeda connected al-Shabab militia. Al-Shabab is currently battling Somalia’s U.N.-backed, but weak, government.
